  Legend of the Game

Milt Myers

Snohomish Co. Vikings, Puget Sound Jets, Eastside Hawks, King County Jaguars

Return Specialist/Defensive Back/Wide Receiver

Myers spent 8 seasons as one of the most dynamic players in the Northwest Football League.  A threat as a return specialist every time he touched the ball, Myers was also a defensive mainstay in the NWFL topping the interception categories each season as well as chiseling his name in the record books as a wide receiver.

After a senior campaign at Mariner HS in 1992 in which he capped it with a WesCo 1st Team AAA All-Star selection, Myers signed a letter of intent with University of Washington.

Milt joined the Snohomish Vikings in 1997 and made his impact immediately with a 2nd team All-League selection as a cornerback and in 1999 the NWFL got a full taste of his capabilities.  Wrecking defenses to the tune of 15 receiving touchdowns and a 1st Team selection as a wide receiver, Milton was also tabbed as the top punt returner in the league and the NWFL Special Teams Player of the Year.  This caught Richard Harris' eye and he brought Myers to Portland to play indoor ball with the Prowlers in 2000.

Myers continued to dominate in the NWFL from 2001 to 2005 garnering All-League and All-America honors as well as player of the year honors.  After playing for perennial NWFL powers Puget Sound and Eastside, Myers was one of the players Sam Adams took to his indoor venture with the Everett Hawks where he hung for the 2006 and 2007 season before retiring from football after 10 solid seasons.
