The Cardinals announced an 11-game schedule in May
of 1999, however the team never got together for the season and was put
off until 2000.
When they did finally get on the field, a 7-3
record and West Division Title was the reward only to be bested in the
playoffs by a Kodiaks team they had beaten in August.
The Cardinals morphed into the
Boise Roughriders
in 2001 when they merged with the
Treasure Valley Cowboys.
