The "Engineers" were a contingent of soldiers based near Ellensburg and assigned to the 1874th Army Air Corps.

 

The proceeds from the Nov 7 game which was arranged by the Ellensburg Elks Lodge, would be a charity game for the Ellensburg USO swimming pool fund.
