On extremely short notice, Ellensburg put together 14 local footballers and traveled to Enumclaw to meet the powerful Silver Barons.

Making only two substitutions, they held the Barons to three first downs, one of the scores coming after a blocked punt and another after an intercepted past.

Ellensburg recorded 3 first downs of their own on a drive into Enumclaw territory but the 45 players the Barons dressed out were too fresh for the tiring 14 of Ellensburg.
