2013 Northwest Player of the Year

Jackie Triplett

Defensive End

Seattle Stallions

For the first time since 2009, GNFA Player of the Year honors fall to a defensive player.  Jackie Triplett became the career sack leader in all of minor league football in 2013 totalling 13 sacks leading the Stallions to the PFL North Semi-Finals in their first year as a league member.

Triplett, the 40-year old phenom has accumulated 162 sacks in a ten year career that started with the West Sound Saints in 2004.  The former US Marine, has kept himself in supreme shape even earning a starting spot on the Dakota State University Trojans football team before a leg injury ended his season.  Triplett was the first 36-year old freshman to ever start for DSU.  Six times in his career, Jackie topped 20+ sacks in a season of play.
