"Diamond" Joe Paglia

Kicker - Coach

Growing up in Black Diamond, the creator of the "Coffin Corner" kick while a collegian at Santa Clara University in California, the man they called "Diamond" could kick a football and land it anywhere he chose, usually inside the 5-yard line.

An outstanding baseball and basketball player for Black Diamond in the late 1920's,  From 1935-1938 Paglia was the coach of St. Martin's college team in Lacey, Washington.

1935 Paglia coached the Olympia Senators

1937 Paglia coached the West Seattle Yellowjackets

1940 Paglia coached the Boeing Aero Mechanics
