A combined effort of Cedric Walker (Willamette Valley Raiders) and members of the defunct East County Blackshirts, the Terminators were slated to be an independent team.

Taking on the PDFL Champion Tacoma Cobras, the Terminators looked respectable and then shocked the region. After being asked to join the Western Washington Football Association as a replacement team for the folded up Tacoma Warriors, the 20-strong Terminators traveled to South King County and upset the undefeated Colts 46-33.  A defeat at the hands of eventual champion Seattle followed, but Northwest rebounded to win three in a row to close out the season.  In a controversial move, the WWFA announced the Terminators were not eligible for playoffs and thus were left out of a possible rematch with Seattle.  Two months later, the Terminators hosted the Colts and defeated the Vegas bound team.
