Springfield shocked the Northwest by ending the longest regional winning streak with a playoff victory over the undefeated Portland Monarchs to advance to the PFL South title game. 

 

The Buzzards changed their name to South Lane prior to the 2012 season to reflect their primary position in Lane County.
