Manager Prebbles and other members filed a grievance against ex-Coach Montigue claiming he gave away signals that favored Chemewa after threatening to do so before the 31-0 blowout loss.

 

Taking on the Multnomah club, the Soldiers led by Dudley Clarke shocked spectators who expected the MAAC to win in a walk.  Clarke would be signed to play with the club team, starring in 1911.

Lt. Benedict, Stoll and Woods were the stars of the 1915 Columbia Park game on Nov 13.

Leslie and "Big Jim" Black planned to return to college at Penn State, while Kilts planned to head to Corvallis.

 

1921:

Star fullback Sgt Goodwin was leading the 59th Infantry Team until Oct 15 when he was called up to Camp Lewis where he would join the Ninth Corps team.

 

Albina survived a loss, when Cwidak intercepted a pass and returned it 75 yards before being tackled at the Albina 7 yard line.  The soldiers could not convert into points, and were stuck with a tie.

 

1922 Team consisted of the Seventh Infantry Soldiers.  Captain D. B. Simpson served as athletic officer.
