The Story of the Anarchy begins in 2009 with offensive tackle Rye McAffee and fullback Russell Cummins.  Both men were playing with Idaho Falls Mustangs and with a handfull of Mustangs, and a few former Pocatello Predators, they set out to establish a team in Arco.  That inaugural 2010 season started out with a bang as the Anarchy went 3-0 to start the season including a victory over their former teammates in Idaho Falls.  Stumbles in weeks 4 and 5 were overcome and Arco put together a winning streak leading to an appearance in the RMFL AA Championship, falling to the Great Falls Gladiators, but finishing with an impressive 8-3 record.  The Anarchy would make the playoffs in each of their nine seasons with two championship game appearances both facing the Gladiators.

Following the 2018 season there appeared to be a numbers crunch with less than 20 confirmed players set to return in 2019.  By February, many of the remaining Anarchy players would merge with their long-time rival Idaho Mustangs bringing the franchise full circle from it's beginnings in 2009 and helping kick off one of the more dominant runs in Idaho history as the Mustangs set records over the next four seasons.  The Anarchy held a 9-3 record over the Mustangs from 2010-2018.
