Col. Morgan Moyer handled a semi-pro team in Connecticut prior to WWII
and had high hopes of assembling a rugged squad in Great Falls and
scheduled agressively with that hope.
What he ended up with was an out of sync team buried from the beginning
by the San Diego Marines. The team broke through with a tie with
Western Montana to end the season and the program at Malmstrom.
