In 1912, the Grammar School League was formed utilizing many of the Arleta players for  "school" ball.  The team reformed after the school season for a game with Columbia Park.

The team would join the Portland City Junior Division play in 1913 with a weight limit of 130lbs, but routinely was outweighed especially against Montaville where they gave up nearly 20lbs per man.  Quarterback Simola was a quick but small 115-pounder.  Scheduled to play the Sellwood Junior team, the light-weight team failed to show giving Arleta a forfeit, in their place the Sellwood "big" team took the field averaging 150lbs.  Arleta played them anyway and battled to a 0-0 tie with the Teed brothers shutting down the Sellwood offense.  Christmas Day would be the test as Arleta took on the Frank E. Watkins, Archer-Wiggins League champions.  F.E.W would take the game 7-0 to close the 1913 season.

During the 1914 season, Arleta sported two teams, one in the newly formed Portland Junior Athletic League (Spalding League) or "midget" team, while the Lightweight regulars remained in the Archer Wiggins League.  Midway through the season, Arleta and the league itself started to come apart as Arleta could not generate any offense in three blow out losses.  It's possible the lighter weight men dropped down to the Spalding League team, while the larger players splintered off.  Very little information was printed regarding the collapse of the league.

Manager Bush and Doane, the outstanding Arleta-man in 1914 left to play from Brooklyn in 1915.
