appreciated! On Sep 28, 1933 the Bandon Alumni formed to play the High Schoolers. The game was a scoreless tie at the end of regulation and it was decided to play another 30 minutes. Curtis French scored all of Bandon's touchdowns through November. Bandon and Coquille began a regional community rivalry with Bandon holding the edge in victories. Curtis French again scored all the three touchdowns in the 1935 opener against Coquille as he also held down coaching duties. French also coached the Bandon High Tigers for seven years after a 4-year football career in Salem from 1925-1929, before moving on to Cottage Grove High in 1936. The November 29th, 1936 game raised $17.50 for the Bandon Public School Treasury, down from the $30.00 raised during the November 22nd game. DO YOU HAVE INFORMATION TO CONTRIBUTE? CONTACT US! (email)
