In 2006, Odell Barnes applied to the Pacific
Northwest Football Conference for start-up of a new team to be located
in Bothell, Washington representing the east Seattle region.
Following his presentation, the board voted to accept the proposal.
Just prior to the start of the 2006 season however, an insurance check
from the team failed to clear due to insufficient funds and it was learned that the team had not
ordered equipment or uniforms. Too late to rearrange the schedule,
the Bulldog franchise was closed down by the PNFC and their opponents
were afforded forfeits in the event they could not locate replacement
teams on their schedules. |
