For two seasons, Eric Murray attempted to form the
Cottage Grove Gryphons as a summer entry in the Eugene, Oregon area but
met high resistance from the local Nineman League owners. The team
appeared on early season schedules, but dropped out due to lack of
players prior to taking the field. |
