1894 first meeting with the Butte "Pastime" Club was a non-weight restricted game where the heavier miners scored at will on the lighter Helena team. In the rematch, a 150lb limit was imposed and the November 21st game was much more competitive in a 0-0 tie.

Helena was never a threat in the 1902 opener, and it was evident a lack of practice was the difference between Helena and Missoula.
