Mark Meadows $5/Annually

Maryknoll, a Catholic mission for Filipino and Japanese immigrants, placed a football team in the Seattle Courier League during the 1930's playing amongst other Japanese-American teams in the Seattle area. The 1935 team would be coached by 19-year old Brennan King, star of the Uptown and Italian Athletic Club teams and future GNFA Hall of Famer. The 1935 team had a weight limit of 135lbs with an allowance for two players to be 140lbs and one to be under 150lbs in the Courier League.

The 1936 team would be coached by Harry Yanagimachi, an all-city center from Garfield High who would go on to the University of Washington.
