Mark Meadows $5/Annually

Created by Bill Murphy as part of the 1932 Spokane Community League, the Murphy's were unbeaten through five games and leaders of the league.

Baldy Peterson scored first against the Hotelmen for a 6-0 lead.  After going down 7-6, it wasn't until 4 minutes to go in the game that fortunes changed with a blocked punt giving Murphy the ball on CdA's 2-yard line.  Four plays later it was 13-7.  on the next series, Morrie Black picked off a Hotel pass and zipped 50-yards for the final score.

Morrie Black was the star of the league.
