The Pirates were formed in 2008 and played out of
the Port Orchard, Washington area. Rarely playing with more than
20 players, PS struggled to even score going four games without a score
while giving up 162 points. They did however back into a playoff
spot in the Cascade League and nearly upset the Tacoma Invaders.
The 2009 season opened with back to back blowouts
from two of the better teams in the northwest, and finally after 11
straight losses the Pirates broke into the win column versus the NWFL's
cellar dwelling Cavaliers. The Pirates closed out the 2009
campaign forfeiting to the Invaders. |
