Mark Meadows $5/Annually

Bob Black, a retired Medical Lake businessman, organized a team for entry into the planned Northwest Professional Football League with teams from Tacoma, Vancouver, Oregon City and British Columbia.  The league would eventually become the Northwest Football Alliance.

Black announced that the team would not have the financial problems the Golden Hawks faced the previous two seasons.

Unfortunately for Spokane the team never made it to the field and would have to wait another 18-months until the Spokane Fury formed for the Northwest Football Alliance in 1983.
