The WWFA announced the formation of the Washington Wolfpack in 2010 and
would play in the Lakewood area. Former Invader Tutu Tamaalevea
and Warrior Michael A'alona coupled to manage the team during it's
formation.
The Wolfpack surprised many on a run to the WWFA Championship only to be
stopped cold by the Bellingham Blitz just the same as they had started
the season. A game against the Las Vegas Demolition was canceled
when players and funds could not be secured.
Just weeks before the 2012 season was to start, the WWFA announced the
suspension of the franchise for failure to attend meetings and pay
league dues and insurance fees.
