For nearly a decade, Aaron
Wardrip played linebacker, and during that time frame he was
selected as one of the best linebackers in the Northwest
eight times. He also earned National recognition as an
All-American in four consecutive years from 2001-2004.
Wardip also holds the
Northwest Football League (NWFL)
record for most tackles in a single game with 20 during the
2001 season.
A naturally powerful
athlete, Aaron started both ways as a high school senior on
the offensive line and at linebacker, earning 1st Team SFSL
honors at both positions. He followed that with a State Championhip
wrestling season prior to graduation in 1993.
After his outstanding career
in minor league football, he went back to his roots taking
on the world of Mixed Martial Arts in the local Tacoma area
from 2007-2008.
He retired 2-0 in competition.
