According to the Ravalli Republic, when the Rush formed, a core of the team were previously Bitterroot Blaze alums including most of the 2009 starting secondary. Riding a three game win streak, the Rush crushed the Snow Devils on the back of three defensive touchdowns, and a rushing attack that tallied four ground scores in the 2010 match-up. In the 2011 league opener with the Snow Devils, Kyle Rausch picked off four Gallatin passes keeping the Rush out of danger in an 18-6 victory. The following week, Rausch was under center due to injuries, leading Clark Fork to a second consecutive victory. That would be the last win for the franchise as a six game slide ensued along with a forfeit and a 7-6 upset to last place Helena in the season finale. The Rausch brothers both attended Montana Western before starring with the Rush.
