The
third-best rushing season in Northwest football history
is held by the Blaze' Justin Nixon. A powerful
runner with great speed, Nixon was voted the Rocky
Mountain Football League's AA Most Valuable Player in
2006, leading Bitterroot to an RMFL playoff spot.
Rushing
for 1,427 yards and 15 touchdowns, Nixon averaged nearly
7.3 yards per carry and topped 200-yards
in a game twice in 2006, with a career-best 271.
