Lance
Westendorf, the former Pierce County Bengal arrived on
the scene with the Puget Sound Jets and led the aerial
assault on the NWFL record books while leading the Jets
to a 16-0 record and NFA Championship over the Buffalo
Gladiators.
Tabbed the
NWFL Player of the Year, Westendorf was virtually
unstoppable by NWFL defensive coordinators with many
games out of reach by halftime.
