A new franchise out of Eugene, Oregon for the 2019 PNFL season.  A tale of two halves, the Vikings were blasted in 2 of their first 4 outings, and a win over the Bills was vacated by the PNFL for use of an ineligible player.  Willamette kicked off the second half of the PNFL season in style by knocking off the previously undefeated Washington Sentinels for the first win of the season.  This led to a 3-game winning streak culminating in a one-point loss to Salem in the finale which kept the Vikings from a playoff spot.
 
On June 11, 2019 Derek Luna announced that the Vikings would merge with other players to become the Capital City Cobras.  The Cobras/Vikings merger would be a Covid-19 casualty when Oregon football was halted from 2020-2021.  Coach Jeff Barker would be named coach of the Rose City Swarm prior for 2020.
