Tom Weir, the 18-year old halfback broke his ankle during the 1910 Walkerville game on October 2nd.  Weir would return as an anchor of the Ramblers squad until World War I began to limit football men available, including Weir who joined the army artillery until his discharge in 1919.  Just prior to his discharge, Tommy took part in the American Expeditionary Forces championship tournament in France as a member of the 6th Army Division Team.

Following two battles with the Anaconda Juniors and Anodes the 1911 team would join forces with the combined athletes of Butte and Anaconda under one banner in attempt to claim the City Championship.

The 1912 team would be at times called the Butte Junior Ramblers, during weight-restricted games, and was considered a fast and well conditioned squad.  Racing to a 3-0-1 record, the Ramblers claimed the Butte City Championship avenging the 1911 loss to Centerville.  Charles Dillon, tackle, died at the age of 21 a few months after the season concluded.

The undermanned and undersize 1914 team was overwhelmed by the University of Montana 87-0, but rebounded in November to nearly claim the city championship once again in a 6-0 loss to Centerville.

An aggregation of "All-Stars" was put together in 1917 to play the military artillery aggregations from Butte and Anaconda training for World War I.

Tommy Weir would go on to a long career ending in 1927 as a bruising linebacker, fullback and punter with the Centerville Highlanders and Englewood Blues.  He was inducted into the Greater Northwest Football Hall of Fame in 2021
