Michael Kuehne carries in 2011 finale.
Following the 2011 season ending loss to Missoula, Will Wheat announced
he was handing the reigns of the team to starting center Jared Taylor.
Unable to get anything going for the 2012 season, the Knights sat out
and Taylor moved on to the Missoula Phoenix.
25 players were announced for the 2013 season including 2009 rushing
champ Kuehne. However, he was ineffective as a runner and moved to
receiver and safety playing ironman football under Dre Wilson who served
as GM, WR, reserve QB, and DB.
Following a dismal 2013 campaign where the Knights could only muster 12
points of offense all season, the team forfeited the final two games of
the season and faced RMFL fines and sanctions. In August, the team
was reorganized as the Flathead Monsters
and played a limited schedule in the Eastern Washington-based WFL,
before returning to the RMFL in 2016. |
