First mentioned as part of the Seattle Independents League of 1924, Jefferson Park is still under research.  A possible branch of the Boldt's Cafe Specials which ended play in 1922 when much of the team became the West Seattle Athleitic Club.  Ivan Jones and Cot Rice are two main links between Boldt's and Jefferson Park.

The 1925 team had two versions, a "senior" team that played on the independent circuit and a "juniors" team that was lighter weight and played like-sized games.

The 1926 team was aggressive in scheduling games with naval ship teams, as well as Tacoma-area teams and colleges and though the record did not reflect much winning, the December 12th game with West Seattle was deemed a "Northwest Championship Game" even though West Seattle had claimed the title in a 3-2 win over the Aberdeen Legion squad.  Jefferson Park also defeated Aberdeen by a larger margin which probably prompted the challenge.  West Seattle won the game 9-6 over the Jeffs.

The 1927 team was noted for having University of Washington players Maurice Bates (freshman), Bill Beck (1922-23) and Ivan Jones (freshman), as well as Franklin High's Brownie Burns and Joe Landauer formerly of the Broadway Athletic Club.  After battling the West Seattle Yellowjackets squad to a tie on December 4th, the squad abruptly forfeited the return match the following week mere hours before kickoff for unknown reasons.  Injuries suffered in the prior game may have been a reason.

The 1928 team would depart from the larger-teams of the Independent circuit, in exchange for membership in the Seattle Community League.  The venture would last just one season.

Prior to the 1929 season, Coach Cot Rice and some of his best players would form the Madrona Athletic Club "Scots" and Jefferson Park would drop football from it's program.
