The Alphas were announced in the late 2023 as an expansion team in the western Idaho-based Idaho Contact Football League.  The inaugural season kicked off with a win for the Alphas over fellow first-year team the Sabers 24-15.  Alternating wins and losses, the Alphas nearly pulled off the upset against the Idaho Black Tide in a 13-10 loss that ignited a 2-game win streak before dropping the final three including the playoff game against the Aztecs for the second time in a month.  Logan Bowers, playing both ways as a running back and linebacker earned ICFL MVP for the 2024 season, eight others earned All-League honors.
