Advertised to be playing in the Shelton, Washington
area, the Grizzlies, owner/manager after holding one workout offered
Steve Matychowiak a small fee to organize and run practice
sessions. Maty found future Hall of Famer Rob Diebold at the
Grizzlies, however after poor turnout and a lack of football athletes,
Maty and Diebold left for the
Seattle Cavaliers . The Grizzlies
would never get off the ground, instead combining with the
Seattle Raiders
out of Federal Way for a July 30th game against the Snohomish Blue Knights. |
