The Cardinals were a brief independent team formed for the 2014 season out of Federal Way, Washington, coached by South Carolina transplant Brian Mann. Some scores are missing from the season, but reports are the Cardinals started out 3-0 before dropping the final three games. No information on why the team folded or where the players dispersed to.

Former lineman Masree Butler would later help coach the Everett Royals from 2021-2022. Coach Mann would be with the Tacoma Sabers in 2021 and later move on to the Grit City Knights.
