Robert Mulligan played for the Kitsap County Chiefs and following
the break up of the team, founded and coached the Kings.
Qunicy Frank picked off Skagit Valley three times, while OLB Mike
Witherspoon dominated September recording 52 tackles in three weeks.
Overcoming an 0-3 start to the 1980 season, the Kings won their final
three games, including the title game against Skagit Valley in overtime
for the newly created Northwest International Alliance Championship.
