Created in 2021 at the height of the Duck theme thanks to the popularity of the Oregon University Ducks and coming on the heels of the Emerald City Bills which sported similar color schemes and logos created in the Pacific Northwest League in 2019.  These Duckz would be added to the Idaho Contact League lineup for the 2021 season battling to an up-and-down 4-5 season, a 48-0 playoff loss at the hands of the Black Tide ending the season.

2022 was again an up-and-down season as two teams doled out the five losses in a 5-5 campaign.  Junior Pigott would win ICFL Defensive Player of the Week for a 3 INT, 95 yards in returns, 8 tackles and 2 PBU during the April 19, 2022 game.  The Duckz shocked the Idaho Matadors escaping the playoffs with a 13-12 victory after two regular seasons losses, earning a trip to face the Black Tide once again at season's end, this time playing for the 2022 ICFL Championship.  The Treasure Valley magic ended for the third time to to the Tide as they could not generate any offense in a 24-3 loss.

The Boise Savage, out for the 2022 season, returned in 2023 and much of the Duckz franchise was absorbed into the Savage, and the Duckz were no more after a 9-10 record over two seasons, two ICFL playoff and one championship appearance.
