The Broadway Athletic Club, known at times as the "Tigers" or the "Pine Streeters", was sponsored by C.H. Wells during the 1928 season reaching the League Championship only to lose to Ballard.

 

In 1929, the "Pine Streeters" would again lose to Ballard.
