The Seattle Titans kicked off operations in 1975 after four identity-crisis years as the Bulldogs, going by Eastside, Seattle and Kirkland.

During the 1978 season one sports writer with the Seattle Times wrote that the Titans could just as well be called the "Gypsies" since they had no home base.

When the Titans finally folded in 1978, many of the players joined Snohomish Rambler players as part of the Edmonds/Lynnwood Lions..where again, they found little success in the win column.
