All-America

The Vancouver Vipers, created by Mathew Tefs battled as a lower tier team in the Oregon Football League in 2008 finishing 3-7.  2009 brought another 3-win season, but improvements in upset victories over the Oregon Outlaws and Rogue Warriors.  Following a 6-month layoff, the Vipers attempted to give the Linfield JV's a test only to get dominated 55-0.

In 2010 the Vipers again started 0-3 before stringing together a couple of wins.  An upset of the Buzzards in the final regular season game got the Vipers into the playoffs only to be flattened by the Monarchs.

2011 was a banner start for the Vancouver squad as the began play in the PFL North Division.  The Vipers raced out to a 9-0 start to the season only to see the season end in one of the most epic collapses in Northwest history.  Five straight blow out losses ended the season.

The Vipers changed to "Clark County" in 2012 and with the departure of the Klamath and Rogue franchises, they were placed back in the PFL South Division.  The team struggled to put together consistency and ended 4-7; it's fourth losing season in five years.

2013 would see a further slide as a depleted Bears squad would offer up the only victory in a 1-8 campaign.  With a combined 5 victories in the next two seasons, the Vipers went on hiatus for the 2016 season in order to regroup.

The team returned in 2017 as members of the  WWFA with hopes for new life that was quickly squashed by an 0-5 start.  Vancouver did manage to win the next two games over dwindled Grays Harbor and Outlaw teams enroute to a 2-5 finish.

The Vipers have not been able to recapture the lightning of 2011 when they posted 9 wins, their only winning season, meanwhile, across the river, the Monarchs and Raiders have dominated the Portland scene for a decade.

After a year off in 2016, the Vipers returned and picked up where they left off coming in with a 2-5 season record.

Rebranding as the Northwest Vipers for 2018, the team shut down just prior to the season kicking off unable to put the numbers together for a competitve season under the pressure of Cowlitz County and the Pacific Northwest Cavaliers in their backyard.
