Built around former Ellensburg Normal (College)
school players, and members of the Ellensburg Town Team, Yakima opened
the '35 season with a tie. Prior to the Enumclaw game, Yakima was
strengthened with the addition of several new recruits after
losing FB Sutton to injury. Ernie Jones, crashing fullback from
St. Mary's replaced him.
The Nov 17 game was cancelled when Grays Harbor
could not meet a demand for a $300 guarantee.
