Announced as a new team forming on June 29, 2019, the Bombers made a
large social media campaign to promote the team and looked great on
paper even signing up All-Time Regional Sack Leader Jackie Triplett for
the 2021 season.
The seven-team WSFL was immediately shut down in 2020 by the Covid-19
lockdowns and the season was called off. But, it was later
resurrected in August, with only 3 teams on board. The
on-again-off-again season for the Bombers was competitive but winless
bookended by shutouts to the Seminoles.
Seattle opened the 2021 season with a close loss to the Everett Royals
and was then victimized by the none-teams on the schedule in the Orcas
(never formed) and the Vikings which forfeited after a blow out to the
Royals. The Bombers finally broke the win column on July 10th with
a win over the Royals before losing out the rest of the way. The
team would not return for 2022.
