1975 Northwest Player of the Year

Mark Cahill

Quarterback

Pierce County Bengals

Former back-up to Steve Bartkowski on the 1974 Atlanta Falcons, Cahill returned to the northwest where he had been a star at Olympic CC and caught on with the Bengals.

Cahill quarterbacked the Bengals to an 8-1 season, losing unexpectedly to the Flyers to start the season, but rallied to 8 straight victories and another championship.

Cahill set a then-Bengals record for Total Offense with 2,054 total yards (1,938 passing and 116 rushing).  He threw 26 TD's on 126 of 231 with 9 interceptions.
