The Neah Bay Eagles were spawned following the end of the
Olympic Peninsula Eagles run with the
WWFA following the 2012 season.
Neah Bay won the 8-man Championship of the newly formed league started
by Dick Seuss and Larry Moody. Taking 11 players to Las Vegas, the
Eagles played Iron-Man in the "8-Man National Championship" against the
hometown Cobras, losing 50-24.
The team would gear up for an 11-man contest against the upstart
Puyallup Nation Kings in September winning that matchup 22-14.
2013 NW8man League MVP Jed Johnson
In 2016 Ronald Wright and TJ Greene became co-owners of the Eagles and
moved into the Washington State Football League as a full time 11-man
organization for the 2017 season.
Losing the opener to the Lions, the Eagles won out against the Hawks and
Raptors to win the inaugural WSFL Championship.
A 5-0 record in the league was not enough as it also went with 2
on-field losses and a forfeit to the Tulalip Hawks including a 36-0
beating in the title game to end 2018.
2019 kicked off with a rematch from the '18 title game against Tulalip
with an almost mirror result as the Hawks walked out with a 32-0
victory. Two more losses to the Raptors and Predators took the
Eagles into a bye week and slated to make the 6-hour trip over to Yakima
to face the undefeated Coyotes the following week. That trip would
not take place as the Eagles shut down operations during the bye week at
0-3 for the season.
